The internet makes marketing easy.  A bit too easy actually.

It is a common truism that people do business with people that they know and trust. You can either spend thousands of dollars convincing people that they know you and can trust you. Or you can show them with very little budget at all.  

You don't need an MBA to know that the key to a successful business is repeat business and referrals. 

The old way of generating repeat business was to spend money on marketing messages that would convince people to spend money with you. 

The new way is to build and grow relationships with your prospects and customers so that you stay top of mind when they have a ned or meet someone who could use your product or service.
